These colourful, strangely nostalgic, landscapes are places which only existed for a moment, never to be seen again.

Each Mid Journey prompt includes French seaside towns, in the style of famous dead artists. The postcard border includes a fictitious title relating to the artist and place of origin. For example, La promenade de la plage française d'Edward Hopper.

My idea, as with my previous postcard projects, was to create a place in time that might be considered ideal - a place to escape to, surreal and fantastical. Isn’t that what we want in a getaway?

In the future, I hope to create more postcards in different mediums and varied sizes from images in my file. I have decided to close the portal. I really see this as a one time collaboration with Mid Journey.
